Since its creation in 2008, the Val & Joe Team has grown to be one of the most prominent real estate professionals operating in Barrhaven and surrounding areas. The team has exceeded its own expectations in the first year, receiving the Silver Award in 2008, and continues to perform at an exceptional level after winning the Gold Award in 2009. Here is a little info about each member of the team.
Valerie Kazubinski
Val, a native of Newfoundland, moved to Ottawa in 1962. After completing a degree at Carleton University in 1982, Val started work in the Federal Government, first in Finance, then in Real Property. Val has been a Barrhaven resident since 1985 where, as a newlywed, she and her husband Rob bought their first home. Twenty-seven years and six homes later, Val is still a Barrhaven resident now residing in Stonebridge. Her interests include travelling, wakeboarding, water-skiing, downhill skiing and snowboarding, as well as gardening and homemaking. She now has two beautiful daughters and three dogs.
Joe Shipanock
Joe, a Halifax native, moved to Ottawa in 1991. After completing his education, Joe immediately started working in sales. His seventeen year sales career spans across such fields as retail, multimedia, and automobile sales before shifting into real estate in 2004. Joe is a single Barrhaven resident who’s interests include skiing, wakeboarding, boating, and golf (to name a few).
